You largely determine what surrounds you. Alles is an interactive work. You are invited to participate and type the words that appear on the walls around you. The words you choose matter. 'Alles om je heen' — All is around you.

In my installations my language is often wordless. I prefer to work with images, often abstract, leaving plenty of room for the viewer's own interpretation. In Alles (Everything) I do present words, but I don't choose them myself. I invite the audience not to simply be spectators, but to determine the words that will be part of the experience.
